Privacy policy

This privacy policy explains how FLC Tunnel Group North I/S (”we” or ”us”) processes your personal data when you visit our website, subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise are in contact with us.

2. USE OF PERSONAL DATA
We collect the following personal data about you for each of the purposes mentioned:

a) Job applications and employees
If you apply for a job with FLC, we process ordinary personal data that we have either received from you or from others you have agreed we can contact. We do so to evaluate your job application and you. We store all job applications for a period of up to 6 months after the closing date for applications, so we can be sure that we find the right candidate for the job position. 

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) in the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) about consent and Article 6(1)(f) in the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to read your application and assess whether you are the right candidate for the job position.

Once you are employed with FLC, you can read more about our processing of your personal data in our internal HR privacy policy. When you are no longer employed with us, in general, we store your personal data for a period of 5 years after your resignation, although there can be special circumstances obligating us to store the personal data for a longer period.

b) Relations with contractors and suppliers
When FLC cooperate with contractors and suppliers, FLC process ordinary personal data about the contractors and suppliers, including their employees and contact persons such as name, e-mail address, telephone number, job title and place of work.

 FLC process the personal data of contractors and suppliers based on Article 6(1)(b) in the GDPR, as the processing is necessary for the performance of our contract with these contractors and suppliers. As regards the employees and contact persons, FLC processes the personal data based on Article 6(1)(f). Our legitimate interest is to fulfil our obligations in the contract with the employees and contact the persons’ employer, in this case a contractor or supplier. 

FLC store the personal data if this is necessary for processing purposes. As a main rule, we delete personal data 10 years after the contractual relationship has ended.

c) Answering inquiries and other correspondence
FLC Tunnel Group North I/S processes your personal data when you contact us via our contact form, when you request a booking of lectures and when you contact the company’s employees directly by e-mail.

In this connection, we process your personal data in the form of your name, e-mail and other information you choose to include in order to respond to your inquiry or request and to be able to get in touch with you. Please do not include any sensitive personal data in your inquiry.

The legal basis for the processing activity is Article 6(1)(f) in the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is answering inquiries and other correspondence.

We store your personal data as long as it is necessary to apply to your inquiry or other correspondence and 1 year thereafter.

d) Our website
When you visit our website, FLC process your ordinary personal data such as your IP address for the purpose of optimizing the user experience on our website.

We process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(f) in the GDPR about legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to prepare statistics of our website visits for the purpose of optimising the website. Further, we process your personal data based on Article 6(1)(a) about consent.

3. SOURCES
In addition to the direct contact between you and FLC Tunnel Group North I/S, inquiries are also received via authorities such as LBV Kiel, Lolland Kommune and the Ministry of Transport or Environment. This occurs when you contact an authority concerning the Fehmarn project.

4. SECURITY
FLC Tunnel Group North I/S endeavours to protect your personal data in the best way possible and has implemented security measures for this purpose. In instances where FLC Tunnel Group North I/S uses data processors, the processing is performed solely in accordance with FLC Tunnel Group North I/S’s instructions, and the data processor is required to treat the personal data confidentially and take the appropriate security measures against breaches of data security.

If you intend to send us sensitive personal information, it is recommended that you use encryption, such as secure e-mail.

5. YOUR RIGHTS
According to Chapter III in the GDPR, you have several rights in relation to our processing of your personal data. If you want to make use of these rights, you can contact us via info@femernlinkcontractors.com.

Firstly, you have the right to obtain access to the personal data that we process about you, just like you have the right to get inaccurate personal data about you rectified.

In some instances, you also have the right to have your personal data deleted and to get the processing of your personal data restricted.

However, please note that some of our processing of your personal data is necessary. This means that you either cannot withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data or that if you withdraw your consent, you can no longer be our client.

Further, you have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, and finally, in some cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
