We are proud to announce the arrival of the new member of our marine fleet for the Femernbelt Tunnel Project for The Fehmarnbelt Project
The latest to join us is IVY, consisting of two custom-built Immersion Pontoons (IVY 1 & IVY 2), designed specifically for the transport and immersion of the project’s 89 massive tunnel elements.
These floating giants feature the following impressive dimensions:
- Length:100 metres
- Width: 45 metres
- Lifting capacity: 8,000 t.
- 66 fully synchronized winches.
- Crew: 22
With final commissioning underway and following the offshore trials, we’ll be fine-tuning IVY to ensure it is fully prepared for the immersion phase.
