FLC Village

FLC Village

  • In cooperation with our project owner, Femern A/S, FLC has created accommodation facilities for the thousands of workers who do not live within a reasonable commuting distance to the construction site in Rødbyhavn
  • FLC Village offers a wide range of services and facilities such as gym room, outdoor training facilities, tv rooms, grocery store, hairdresser, pool- and table tennis room, and outdoor barbeque area
  • Living in FLC Village includes access to canteens serving daily meals for the residents working either day or night shifts, washing of working clothes, cleaning of private rooms and access to all common facilities

FLC Village is designed to provide the best possible facilities where the residents can rest and relax, participate in sports, or engage in social activities with their colleagues

FLC Village features a reception with staff available to assist with a variety of practical and administrative matters

The gym room is among the most popular facilities in FLC Village

FLC has also established an outdoor gym area

Table tennis and pool are popular group activities

A Danish yellow bus, which was previously used for public transportation, drives the FLC Village residents to and from the parts of the construction sites, where the portals, ramps, and tunnel elements are made

The bus service operates around the clock to ensure that construction workers on both day and night shifts have access to transportation from FLC Village

The grocery and convenience store is frequently used by the residents in FLC Village

The residents in FLC Village are provided with clean work clothes twice a week or more often in case of rain or bad weather

The laundry- and work clothes service, which is located inside FLC Village, washes and handles 4 tons of work clothes and linen per week

FLC Village is located within walking distance from the production factory area, where the giant tunnel elements are made

Some of the construction workers commute from FLC Village to the production factory by bike or scooter, a journey of only about 5 minutes
