Safely moored in our work harbour in Lolland last Friday, our Multi-Purposed Pontoon (MPP) now awaits the next preparation phase.
Over the coming period, she will undergo sea trials as we ensure she is ready for her mission: Laying a uniform layer of gravel for the tunnel elements to rest upon.
Our Multi-Purpose Pontoon is one of her kind and features impressive dimensions:
-Length:130 meters.
-Width: 45 meters.
-Loading capacity: 16,000t.
We look forward to witnessing her performance in the future for the world’s longest-immersed tunnel for Femern A/S.
