March 8 is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. This is a day worth celebrating and a good opportunity to dwell for a moment on the amazing women who are part of the FLC for the Femern A/S workforce.
Currently, FLC employs 161 women from 20 different countries and from different continents: from France, Poland, Germany, Ukraine, Denmark, and other European countries to Argentine, Ethiopia, Panama, Mexico, and the USA.
Our many female talents occupy a broad variety of job positions such as manager, early-age concrete expert, design and execution engineer, planner, engineer, business partner, apprentice, trainee, security guard, and technician – only to mention a few.
The female part of the FLC workforce comes from each very different educational and cultural backgrounds. They do, however, have one thing in common: they are all a great source of inspiration to other women who might aspire to a career in the construction industry.
